Are you living, or just surviving?

When Jesus walked among us, he taught us that life is God's most precious gift. He said, "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." (John 10:10) Do you have abundant life?

Here's the big question: Do you live the Christian life as an employee trying to figure out the rules to avoid reprimand, or are you creating a life in collaboration with your Creator who has given you a dream and the gifts to achieve it?

Many people think that living the Christian life is about what we do not do. Others think it is all about recruiting other people to our way of thinking. Some think it is about complying with a list of beliefs. Jesus taught that life is none of those things. He taught us simultaneously to stop worshiping ourselves and to start being fulfilled and happy in a life of love and service. Most of the material you find in my library will help you along the path to find your dream and to recognize the gifts God has given you for the fulfillment of your dream.

Watch for news about my forthcoming book, Don't Panic! How to Thrive When Your World Turns Upside Down. Read my blog for advance views of some of the material that will make this book a must-read. Everybody is battered by storms that cannot be controlled from time to time, but there is a way to move through those storms in peace and safety while you continue to make progress toward your God-given dream

The cruising life is a great metaphor for the life of faith. I blog on that subject from time to time. If you are curious about our life, or if you have questions or requests on the subject of our servant life in the Lord, please contact me.
